Mondays with Mary: Getting Teens to take Ski School
Do you have any tips to encourage reluctant teens or tweens to sign on for a day at ski school?
First of all, they should know that we don’t make the tweens or teens participate with children other than with their own similarly aged peers, unless it’s a family request, or other circumstances. The social aspect just doesn’t work well with big age differences.
Also even teens/tweens can become better, more efficient skiers/riders by taking a lesson. Coaching can help everyone, and it’s fun to explore the mountain with a coach who can take you places your family may not be aware of. And what’s not to like about lunch of their choice?
