Why Your Entire Family Will Love Park City Mountain Resort's Easter Egg Hunt
Park City Mountain Resort knows how to throw a good party, and their annual Easter egg hunt is an event some people look forward to all year. The eggs are plentiful with some so special they are golden.
For several years now, Park City Mountain Resort celebrates Easter Sunday with a visit from the Easter Bunny, free hot chocolate and pastries, a kids-only egg hunt and the All-Mountain hunt. The party starts at 8:45 a.m. in the Resort Plaza with plenty of free hot chocolate and pastries for resort guests. At 9 a.m. the Easter Bunny shows up to meet and greet children 6 and under for their own egg hunt in the Kids’ Korral. Older children and adults are invited to participate in an Easter Egg Hunt on the First Time face where they will find candy-filled eggs.
For the serious egg hunters be prepared to begin at 9 am when the lifts start up the all-mountain "Hunt for the Golden Egg" begins. Guests participating in the all-mountain hunt will find hundreds of prize-filled eggs across the resort, including vouchers for summer activities, lift tickets, and two golden eggs - each with a season pass for 2013-2014. The all-mountain egg hunt is what its name implies--all over the mountain.
Clues for one of the golden eggs are being distributed leading up to the event through Park City Mountain Resort’s pages and on Facebook, www.facebook.com/parkcitymountainresort, and Twitter, www.twitter.com/pcski. Be prepared for friendly competition and lots of fun. Keep a watchful eye as the Easter bunny will be skiing all day!
You must be on skis or a snowboard for the All Mountain and First Time egg hunts, no hiking please. All prizes must be claimed at the Information Desk in the Legacy Lodge by 5pm on Easter Sunday.
