Kimball Art Center: Lisa-Marie's Trip Diary Day 2
A family tradition of ours is to experience the local cultural scene whenever we visit a new city.
We will explore at least one museum, attend a concert or play during our vacation. When we read about the current exhibition on display at the Kimball Art Center, The Perfect Fit: Shoes Tell Stories, we knew this was the place to visit!
Our little princess loves shoes and so do I! The Art Center is easy to find at 638 Park Avenue. Feel free to ski down the Town Run (blue) and walk over for your art fix. The front desk staff is so friendly and informative you might find yourselves chatting about all sorts of things.
The Perfect Fit: Shoes Tell Stories
This two-level Art Center has three lovely galleries and an internet café called the Garage Gallery. Explorie the exhibits at your own pace and then grab a bite to eat or a coffee as you check your emails and update your Facebook page.
For anyone wanting to take a break from the slopes, a visit to the Kimball Art Center would be an ideal retreat. Weekday hours are 10am - 5pm and 12 -5pm on weekends. Admission is free but donations are appreciated.
