Season’s greetings from snowy Park City. Old Town is bustling with holiday visitors and looking very festive. There’s a reason many of us locals like to stay home for the holidays - there is so much to do right here in our own backyard. Park City has lots of festive fun on tap for the whole family. Here’s a quick sampling of some ho-ho-ho happenings...

The Polar Express

Don't miss the ever popular trip to the North Pole! A wonderful experience for the whole family. Elves serve hot drinks and treats while sharing favorite carols and a Christmas story. Children's eyes light up when Santa climbs aboard. Nightly departures at 5:00 and 7:30pm Call ahead to  - always a sell-out! A Christmas Carol

Santa Arrives at the Town Lift Plaza, 5:30 pm

Welcome Santa and Rudolph as they fly their sled full of goodies into Park City on the Town Lift. Enjoy an evening of Holiday carols, Christmas cheer, hot cocoa and cookies.5:30 pm. Free admission. Location: Town Lift Plaza (lower Main Street) info@pcski.com (800).222.7275



Traditional Holiday Celebration and Torchlight Parade

Look for Santa Claus skiing the mountain during the day! Enjoy holiday music and free hot beverages and cookies on the plaza at sunset. Imagine - Remembering the Fab Four

The Egyptian Theatre will rock in the New Year with a live Beatles Tribute Band. 7:30 pm, Tickets $18 in advance, $20 at the door. Location: Egyptian Theatre, 328 Main St. 435-649-9371 www.parkcityshows.com 



Annual Holiday Ornament Exhibition and Sale

More than 300 beautiful, hand crafted glass ornaments will be on display at the Garage Gallery at the Kimball Art Center. Location: Kimball Art Center, 638 Park Ave. 435-649-8882 www.kimball-art.org
