ASK A SNOWMAMA: Where Would you Suggest to Stay in Park City with kids who are 6 and 10?
QUESTION: Hi! Where would you suggest to stay in Park City? I have a 10 year old and 6 year old (this is their first time skiing). We were looking for a two-bedroom condo, with washer and dryer, close to Park City Mountain Resort. Thanks for your help.

ANSWER: Great question John. With so many options to choose from it's tough to determine where you should stay that makes it easy and convenient. I would recommend a couple options.
Marriott Mountainside would be a terrific choice. It is in the perfect location, steps from the slopes and close to ski school, has great amenities for kids, and their fully-equipped two-bedroom condos have a washer/dryer.
Another good choice would be in the Resort Plaza. Most of their two-bedroom condos are equipped with a washer/dryer, and this property is again located at the base area, steps from the lifts, so it would be really convenient for getting your kids to ski school.
If you are looking for something a little more economical and are comfortable staying about a mile from the Resort, then Jupiter Inn would be an option. These condos were all nicely remodeled over the last couple of years and now have stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, granite counter tops, leather sofas etc, as well as a washer/dryer. Park City's free transit system makes it easy to get around town too!
Finally, Silver Star, one of the newest properties in town, would be an excellent choice for a more luxury property. It is a ski-in/ski-out property (accessed only by intermediate or blue-square terrain) but they offer a shuttle to and from Park City Mountain Resort's Base Area. Call 800-331-3178 for additional information on these properties.
If you haven't already, check out Park City Mountain Resort's lodging packages. Also, Snowmama Eileen gives some great tips about the first time on the slopes since this is your kids first time. I am excited to hear how they like it!
