Snowmamas Meet Up
Last Friday was a whole bunch of fun! I had the privilege of leading the first Snowmama’s Meet Up at Park City Mountain Resort, which will be held every Friday through the end of the season. It’s Park City’s way of bringing the Snowmamas community to life. Nothing like connecting with others on the mountain! The group on Friday included Snowmama Kim-Marie and her fabulous husband Jeff, Snowmama Kelly and super cute snowboarding husband Jeff and two of the Snowmamas/Snowpapas Advisory Council Members Elissa and Sarah. My adorable husband, Mark, joined our group and what a fun group it was.
Snowmamas Lisa-Marie, Kelly, Jen (that's me) and Kim-Marie.
We skied runs off of Silverlode, including Hidden Splendor, Prospector and Mel’s Alley. It was such a treat to hang out with other snow sport loving folk. Sarah’s daughter is one of the country’s top skiers. Clearly, the apple does not fall far from the tree….Sarah CAN SKI! Elissa is an instructor at Park City Mountain Resort and boy, you would be lucky to have a day with her.
If you missed the first Snowmamas Meet Up, don’t worry. You can join the group every Friday at 10:00 a.m. We meet at the base of the PayDay lift, look for the “Snowmamas Meet Up” sign. Come check out the mountain, make new friends and enjoy the fresh air. Not too intense, unless you are dying for that. Let’s make some turns together and see what else we have in common!
And, if you feel intimidated, I am ALWAYS the last one down. It might be habit from following children or it’s because I am just not that fast. However, I LOVE meeting you at the bottom!
