My kids are all different ages and planning is killing me!
I have kids in three decidedly different different stages of childhood. One is a teenager, one is pre-pubescent (at least trying hard to be) and the third is in kindergarten. We run in different circles. Being Mom, I love each circle but I hate managing them all. Keeping all age groups happy isn’t easy, especially on vacation.
Many families are blended or just held off on having that last baby. Many families join together and take winter sports vacations as a large group. I understand. It is challenging when you have many ages to accommodate. Don’t worry.
The good news is being a local here in Park City, I know where you can easily, comfortably entertain everybody--Redstone at Kimball Junction. Redstone is an outdoor shopping area with dining, entertainment and plenty of shopping.
Redstone is a perfect place for Snowbugs of all ages.
How about sushi or a burger at Hapa Grill? Why not try the bruschetta appetizer at Red Rock Brewing? Does pasta at Ghidottis Italian Cafe sound good? Wings and a beer at Wing Nutz might be just what the doctor ordered.
While Mom and Dad are dining alone, older children could find something to do by themselves. They can go bowling at Jupiter Bowl, grab an ice cream at Coldstone Creamery or catch a movie at the Redstone Cinemas.

Let the kids peruse the locally owned J.W. Allen Toys stocked with unique toys and games. They also have a fun selection of retro candies, like bottle caps or wax lips. The kids can head over to Beadniks and make a special piece of jewelry to take home as a souvenir of their Park City vacation. Color Me Mine paint your own pottery studio might be another fun spot to put together a special item to take home to remember your winter vacation.
Snowbugs love the toy store at Redstone.
The youngest in the group will love Monkey Mountain in Kimball Junction, a new indoor playground where they can exhaust themselves on the indoor play structures while mom and dad kick back in their contemporary television lounge.
Redstone is centrally located at Kimball Junction off of Highway 224 in Park City. No matter what your age, I’m sure you will have some fun!
